RF Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking an RF Engineer to help develop advanced RF systems up to 30 GHz. In this role You will design and validate RF components and subsystems for satellite communication platforms, working closely with cross‑functional teams to bring RF solutions from concept to product while tackling complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate RF systems and detailed RF designs operating up to 30 GHz.
- Support the integration of RF subsystems into satellite communication platforms.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end development.
- Diagnoses, troubleshooting, and resolve complex RF issues.
- Provide production support, including debugging, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of products and test systems.
Required Experience
- B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in RF board design.
- Strong understanding in layout considerations.
- Knowledge of RF principles: including line-up analysis, transmission lines, impedance matching etc.
- Experience with Schematic and layout software like Altium, OrCAD or similar
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum, VNAs, signal gen).
- Knowledge in simulation tools such as, ADS, AWR or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in System level considerations.
- Experience 3D EM simulation tools like HFSS or CST- advantage.
- Background in Antenna design, and Phased Array antennas.
- Familiarity with satellite communication systems and protocols.
- Familiarity with mechanical constraints in high-frequency designs.
- Knowledge in automation development with Python – advantage.
